We have been recording school bands, choirs and orchestras in the Galway, Clare and Limerick area for the past ten years. We bring to our school recordings the same professional attitude and attention to quality that we offer our professional studio clients.
We can come to your school, record your live concert or group performances, and provide your students and parents with great sounding, professional-looking compact discs usually at little or no cost to the school. — in fact, we have several ways in which schools can actually make a profit from recording sales. The CD artwork is designed in color and professionally packaged. We can take care of the graphic design work and you may wish to involve the students in producing artwork for the cover.

School recording packages:
Option 1
We will record your concert at no charge and produce a compact disc for sale to your students and parents for €15 each. We ask a 30-CD minimum. (If the minimum is not met, we need to add a recording charge to make up the difference, in order to cover expenses.
BONUS FOR THE SCHOOL: If we sell more than 30 CD units of a single concert, we will return 10 percent of additional sales to the school.
Option 2
We charge €250 for a concert or €350 for a one day recording session and then supply you with finished discs, starting at €10 and reducing in price to €5 each, depending on the quantity ordered. This is a good plan if you intend to use your CD as a fundraiser. You can buy a fixed number at a wholesale price and resell them at a markup. There may be an additional charge to cover travel and/or accomodation iif we need to travel more than 100 km.
We can provide workshops in music and audio production for transition year programs and for music classes. We set up a working studio in the school for the required period. Students can then receive basic training in all various aspects of music recording and production including microphone placement techniques, multi track recording, midi programming, mixing to stereo, songwriting and arranging etc.
We can offer workshops on setting up and operating school sound systems, geared specifically to the needs of music teachers and students. We focus on practical isses such as avoiding feedback, miking soloists and choirs, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. We charge €150 for a workshop, which can include music teachers and student sound crew.
