At Audiomonkey our philosophy is very simple:

We endeavour to create the best environment possible to record your music in and to make it sound great!

We designed a purpose built Studio which is warm and inviting and sounds great to play in. Many studios make the mistake of overdoing sound treatment and creating a dead sounding space. When you sing or play in these rooms it sounds as if your notes are dropping straight to the floor!  Surely you can never give your best performance in a space like this! Instead we have carefully controlled our room reverberations to create a space which is good to perform in and also makes great sound recordings.

At Audiomonkey we have a great combination of analog and digital recording equipment including a collection of top class microphones; everything you need to produce pristine sound recordings. Browse our site for further details.

Tony Trundle is a musician and recording engineer originally from Newry, Co Down and has recently moved to Galway, having lived  in Manchester for the past twenty years. He is a songwriter and fiddle player working in different genres. His unique singing style has many influences, from Tom Waits and Van Morrison to Baba Maal and Len Graham. His understated fiddle playing covers many genres from Irish traditional and country to rock and roll.

As well as playing his own material as a solo performer, Tony also works in a trio called LongNote and with the band The Lonesome and Penniless Cowboys. LongNote are an Irish traditional group with David Lim on uilleann pipes and Paul Callick on guitar. The Lonesome and Penniless Cowboys are a Hank Williams inspired band with Cajun influences that have been performing for many years.

He has also written music for theatre and is much in demand as a session musician and studio engineer.

Tony's album "Use Your Fork" is not a lesson in modern manners, but a collection of songs written over the past two years.
